The fishing scene is slow these days. The hot bass bite in the local ponds just switched off a couple of weeks ago and has yet to return. Trout season is a no-go for me this year, so I've found myself doing more training than fishing of late. Preparing to move across the nation doesn't make time any easier to find.
Still, things haven't slowed to stop just yet: Ben over at The Backcountry Journal allowed something of mine to be published on his fine site. By all means go take a look. There is plenty of good writing and great pictures about all sorts of outdoor pursuits to be had.
